Calcined Petroleum Coke

Petroleum Coke, obtained from crude oil distillation units, is known as Green or Raw Petroleum Coke. After calcination at temperatures between 1200°C to 1300°C, it transforms into Calcined Petroleum Coke. This versatile material finds extensive usage in the Aluminium industry for melting alumina, as a carbon raiser in Foundries for Special High Carbon Steel, and as a conductive backfill in ground Electrode stations. It is also used in the manufacturing of various Carbon and Graphite Products.
